Photowalk Experience

The sun is shiny, the skies were blue, everything was fine, same with 2B too. That was the weather when we took our shots together with photoville members and our professor DirecT Dominic Meily. 6:00am is the said calltime, but unfortunately, we arrived at central station around 8:00am. From Central Station we walked group by group and im belong to group 5. The photographer assigned to us was Mr. Ramir. He was so kind and very obedient to us.

He treated us in the morning in Ministop at PIER and in our lunch, he also treat us. We are so shy, because we thought that he doesn't have money for 4 persons and the dish cause 85.00 each. Also our snacks. When we are walking and took some shots. We are waiting for the subjects at Intramuros. I took some pictures of horses, leaves, water, shadows, but i really love it when i took shots to a mother and daughter at the park of Intramuros fountain, because they don't know that I'm taking pictures to them but Direct Meily said that when you took pictures don't make them obvious that they are the subject of your shots, and I'm so happy when they not obviously saw that I took pictures to them.

And also, when your subject is a person, either she/he will get mad. And I experienced it. When I tried to take picture on a vendor of "balot" he said "wag ayoko, no no no no no".And I then realized what Direct Meily saying. From Intramuros to Luneta, and Luneta to Baywalk, and then that is the last place we enjoyed our photowalk.

International thanksgiving is one of the most exciting days because there so many things that will possibly happen. You are forgiven after that. 3 days, we are at La Verdad Christian College Audiorium, we took hook-up together with my classmates, 2A. On the first day, I love the topic because when I read it, it catches my attention. From 6:00 am onwards with the help of God we don't have big problem, we helped cooking downstairs that will sell to the "kapatid". We also cleaned restrooms at the 2nd floor of LVCC and at the ground floor also and at the Auditorium. 2nd day, also we helped wrapping lumpia, fried calamares, formed a circle of what do you called "bilo bilo" in ginatan.

And also we cleaned the restrooms but there so many people uses the restrooms that's why it become dirty easily and having a bad smell. And the last day, I felt so sad and i don't know I felt like it's the end of the world. Maybe 3 days is not enough for me. I want to extend more days. But it is only 3 days and the last day. Someone again got unconscious like what happened last PNK but same person again. He became unconscious because of high blood pressure. 2-3 mins, he's already ok.

I also love cooking that's why helping in the kitchen is not hard for me. Also there so many worship songs sang and I really love it. I had a headache on the last day. I think because of lack of sleep, but I slept for about 20mins during break time and then when I woke up it's gone. And now, even though it is only an hour past, I want and I'm excited on the next PNK again.

            UNTV RADIO LAVERDAD, pinarangalan sa Gandingan award

Ang Gandingan ay isang pagbibigay ng karangalan sa parte ng “broadcasting” sa pangunguna ng mga taga UPLB.. Nag bibigay ito ng “challenge sa mga programa upang mas  “develop” ang ating bansa sa pamamagitan ng kani-kanilang programa. Mahigit isang libong estudyante ang bumoboto  sa mga programa at mga personalidad dito taon taon, kabilang na ang mga taga UP upang alamin ang mga isyu at mag taguyod ng kaunlaran.

“Alam ko yung pagpili nila rito talagang pinanood ng mga estudyante tsaka dumaan sya sa voting, so masasabi ko na talagang valid yung magwawagi sa parangal na ito kaya maraming maraming salamat sa tumangkilik, sa lahat ng mga bumoto at syempre sa mga estudante ng UPLB,” pasasalamat ni Rodel Flordeliz, isa sa mga Host ng programa.

Ginawaran ng parangal ang UNTV Radio La Verdad sa katatapos lamang na Gandingan sa Broadcast Choice Awards ng University of the Philippines (UP) Community Broadcasting Society ng Los Baños, Laguna. Kauna-unahan itong paglahok ng UNTV Radio La Verdad 1350, naging “Most Development-Oriented Radio Plug.” Ito dahil sa  public service plug nito na “bloodletting

           

Janet Napoles, Reyna ng 10b Pork Barrel Scam

                Simpleng buhay, ibang iba sa nakaraan at sa kinalakihan ang lagay ng buhay ni Janet Napoles  ngayon. Ayon ito sa ilang kilala ni Napoles na nagsalita noong Agosto 17 sa taong kasalukuyan. Malayong malayo daw sa buhay na tinatamasa nila ngayon.

Ayon sa National Bureau of Investigation, nasa dalawampu ang nahay na pagmamay-ari ni Napoles sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa na nakatayo sa ilang exclusive subdivision. Pati na din ang tatlumpung sasakyan na milyon milyon din ang halaga. Ngunit ang tanong ng marami, paano naging ganito kayaman si Napoles kahit na isa siyang “simple business women”?

Ayon sa kampo ni napoles, nanggagaling daw ang yaman nito dahil may housing business daw ito sa Singapore. Ngunit ng sabihin ng abogado ni Napoles ang pangalan ng kumpaniya, ay hindi naman matawagan ang mga numero na nandito. FIRST UNTV CUP

Last August of its second week, UNTV CUP was held at Araneta Coliseum. This is one of the productive project of UNTV.

It is led by Kuya Daniel Razon and PBA legend Atoy Co. The first two team to play was TeamDOJ and TeamAFP. unfortunately to TeamDOJ, they lose and to TeamAFP WON with the score of 117/71. The teams that will play the basketball are Philippine National Police(PNP), Department of Justice(DOJ), Supreme Court(S.C), Metro Manila Develpoment Authority(MMDA), Philhealth, LGU's. The two teams that will gonna have the highest points will play for the championship, that will be held on November. And the winner will receive 1million, and the first runner up will receive 500 thousand, and they will give that to their chosen charity.

As what the majority said, this project was the first play with the department members and the most enjoyable here is that, you play just not just for fun, but you play to help other charities that is surely need you too.(STRAIGHT NEWS)

SCHOLARSHIP

Being a scholar is not a joke, you have to maintain your grade. Like me, I'm a scholar at LaVerdad Christian College. At first, I thought that I can't passed it. Scholarship is not to those who are lazy to do things. You must accomplish the things you need to do, you need to understand what the lesson is, you must discipline yourself. I can say that I'm well disciplined now because when I was in my highschool days, if the subject is boring, I will not give focus to that subject. But now, you must give focus to all your subjects for you to pass and go to the next level.

Other says that they are tired for being a student, because they have a lot of things to do. But for me, those things are the materials that is needed for you to learn more, to have a lot of information is a requirement when you are on the job. It is nice to be busy, even though you don't get enough of sleep and sometimes you forgot to eat your food, but when you saw you're grades passed, it was so stress relieving. I can't compare being a scholar here in LVCC because at first, the discipline that implemented here compare to ohter school was so different. So different.

Everyday, I  see myself thinking that how lucky am i, that I'm one of the blessed scholar here. Even though it was very tough. Yes, I admit, it was very hard. But for me, if you have a goal in life, if you have perseverance, if you really want to be succesful, if you want it too much, if you are inspired to your family and God, there's no things that is hard to do. And I know, being here at LVCC is a God's choice for me because he has plan(FEATURED ARTICLE)

     

                       

Production of MCT-12

I will not forget about this production, in our practices, that is the problem, if the leader says that the call time is 7 am in the morning. The other are going to school 11 am. Haha. And when the time that we need to present our production, in front of the audiences, we did it but there so many technical errors, if you will see it in the television, it is so embarrassing :.> . There is a scene there there that the two girls exchanged there guitars at the same time the singer is singing even though the guitarists exchanging there guitars, haha. Our production is one of the worst thing that we did, and I’m not regreting about this because if this  not happened, maybe there is no lesson added in my mind that is needed to do. The dance of the boys are our highlight there, because it is enjoyable and entertaining, and the sessionistas is the second one. Fortunately, we did this even though we are not yet ready to perform, and thanks be to God, it is successfully done :> In our practices, it is synchronized and much better in our live performance, At that time, I thought that we don’t have our presentation, because we have only 2 days to prepare and polish what we already have. I can say that if there is another production to do , maybe, i had knew what is needed to be done first.

Art month

            Fun run, did you know this event regarding the red cross? It is great to know that we helped those people in a way of the unity running at the grand stand. Evening the day before the fun run, we slept on Jejengs house, we are so excited for the day after that, because we will run for the red cross. During Fun run, I don’t feel any kind of tiredness to my body,even though the fun run has already done, I don’t felt any tiredness. We awaked at 3 am and eat some rice and ride a trycicle faster because we thought that we are late, but when we are at the school, we are fortunately meet the calltime. It is a great experience for me because that was my first time to run united.

Cl week

            Cl week. I know that it is hard to do things specially it is grouped. Special event of our school because other school don’t do this kind of event. It is so special because you do this to God. Even though at the time of practice, you are arguing with one another because you are not coming at the call time, we win at Christian dance and we are the champion in chorale :> it is so nice to know that all of those obstacles that we encountered, we fortunately won. And I am proud to say that. I am proud to have this kind of school, and I am proud to be a part of the scholarship I have now.

Why I am here at LaVerdad Christian College?

            First, I know that I am here because it has a reason. There is a saying that “everything happens for a reason” I know that God has a plan for me. Second I know that I am here because this is fit to me. Imagine, I am from Novaliches, and I am the one who is lucky to study here. Even though, it is possible that all of the students here is from Bagong Barrio but it is not what happened. So I am proud to be here. I wish that I will finished what I had started. I know that Lord will help me and I have the perseverance to finish this because I want help my parents. And I wish that I will do all things even though it is hard, with the help of God i'm gonna do this, i'm gonna finish this.

Interview

In this kind of lady that I had interviewed. In her situation, it is hard for us if we are in her situation. But still, she has the perseverance for her family and specially to her daughter. When I was in front of her, I saw in her face the tiredness but she always smile just to show me that she is strong enough to face those obstacles that she’s encountering. Her 2 years old baby, with no father because that guy left them and has another girl. And the bread winner of her family is her father, the one who’s buying milk, diapers, and anything that the baby needs. She told me that she stay pretty even though she has a baby, No regrets to what happened because she also wanted that. And it is nice to know that even though she has a baby, it is not one of the reason to her to stop in schooling, fortunately, this is one way for her to make her strong her.

Myself

I am Alegria Joy P. Barilla, I love violets, and playing volleyball. I’m 16 years of age, my hobbies are reading, watching. I don’t like those people who are back fighters, because as I introduce myself, I’m not that kind of person, it’s like you have a attitude like you are in a wet market . It is bad to hear that you are talking to them in a bad way. I had one sister, and she is also in  college level. My parents are still with me, and I love them so much. Iwant to finish my studies and my inspirations are them. I have the perseverance to do and to encounter  the challenges that will come, and I know, with the help of God, I will achieve those obstacles in my life.

Gadget Review

Gadget, when talking about cellular phone, the first idea comes to my mind is that one of the most important thing in this country now, is phone. Without this, we cannot communicate easily in our relatives or to those people who are far away from us. Even though, there are a lot of gadgets now, the cheaper price is the cellphone. We may not have the most expensive phone today but we have our phone having a write message to type, a contacts to call and anything inside the phone that is worth it to use.

Movie Review

I will not go further,  the movie camp rock, when you noticed, the main event in this movie is that the  jonas brothers are the artists there eventhough in reality, they are also a artists. And then they are having a Camp for the summer vacation, and those who joined the contest will be performed with Jonas Brothers. And if you noticed, the story is like a musical play, but this movie has a lesson, lesson is being real, eventhough your poor, don’t be shy to show up to people who are the real you, because when you are not true with your friends, maybe they will love you in your lier way. It is better to show who you are, to love you because that is you than to love you on those personal things that you have said. And one more thing is that, this movie is created last summer to make the song This Is Me released.
